"A peaceful retreat off the beaten track"

How to find us

Our huts are perfectly placed for all that North Wales has to offer, tucked up in the hills ten minutes from Betws-y-Coed.

Plas yn Rhos, Rhydlanfair, Betws-y-Coed, Conwy LL24 0SS

Positioned above a bubbling stream – great for paddling, dam building and a post-sauna dip for the adventurous – the huts are half a mile from the road, along a farm track. Richard, Hazel and their children are about the only people who will ever pass by except for the occasional walker.

Even the postie doesn’t come up here! You might see and hear some wildlife though – a heron can often be seen fishing in the stream, red kites whirl overhead and a family of hares live next to the track. We’ve also resident owls that you’ll hear as you sit by your fire in the evenings.

Public Transport

We are happy to meet you at the train station or bus stop and take you back again at the end of your stay. We are, however, off the beaten track here with the nearest shop being in Betws-y-Coed so recommend you bring or hire bikes if you’re coming by public transport.

By Train

Most trains change at either Crewe or Chester for Llandudno Junction. From there it’s possible to get a connection to Betws-y-Coed. From London there are several direct trains a day from Euston to Llandudno Junction with a journey time of just over 3 hours.

By Bus

There is a very infrequent bus service from Capel Garmon to Llanrwst.
